Linda Joyce Scott nee Nicholson passed away peacefully the morning of April 5th, 2024 with loving family by her side.
Linda was born in Quebec City on July 15th, 1949. She met her husband Gordon at the First Baptist Church in Brampton, who became her high school sweetheart. They were happily married and loved each other for 54 years.
The simplest pleasures in life brought Linda great joy. She was a private, fun-loving person who loved to travel in her RV through the eastern states to Florida with her husband. She loved spending summers with her family in South Bruce Peninsula, taking walks in the forest, enjoying evening bonfires, and creating lots of fond memories.
When they weren’t traveling they were home in Milton, a place they lived happily surrounded by the love of family, friends, and neighbors.
Linda was a bright light for many. She treated everyone she met with such warmth, love, and kindness. She was the person you would always confide in and the one who supported you most no matter what. She was the sunshine that we all needed in the world.
She loved her family dearly.
Linda is survived by her husband Gordon Scott, her two children: Stephen (Kim) and Janet, her grandchildren Megan (Mathew), Tyler, and Paige, and her two sisters Marjorie Steele and family and Joanne Giamberardino and family. Predeceased by her Father Rev. Robert Nicholson, mother Winnifred Nicholson, and granddaughter Julia.
In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held at Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donation to Trillium Health Partners. A special donation page for Linda has been developed: Donate Here
