Leslie Myran began his journey to the Spirit World on March 12, 2024 at the Portage District General Hospital in Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 79 years.
Les is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughters Wanda (Patrick) McIvor, Priscilla (Ged) Meeches, Cheryl (Darren) Meeches and Tanya G. (Keith) Myran, sons Darryl Meeches, Harley (Cassandra) Myran, Kevin (Amanda) Myran and Leslie Craig (Jessica) Myran, siblings Louie (Shirley), Maurice, and Karen, 41 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Louie and Louisa Myran, siblings Donna, Dorothy, Gordie, Thomas, Dennis, Marilyn and Marlene, nephews Gordie, Ricky and Eric, grandchildren Elissa Smoke and Konye Smoke, and great-grandchild Leslie Tatum Smoke.
Wake will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 4:00 pm. Feast and Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge, followed by burial at Dauphin Myran Cemetery.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
