It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Lennie Kliger on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Beloved husband of Helaine for forty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Andrew and Michelle, and Daniel and Ann. Proud Papa of Sam and Tommy. Dear son of the late Harry and the late Edith Kliger. Devoted brother of the late George and late David Kliger. Brother-in-law of Ronna Ellen, and Sherry Ellen. He will be greatly missed by his niece, nephews, the Wiseman family, and by all his many friends. Lennie was a true family man, putting his wife, sons, and grandchildren above all else. His passing came on a day after doing what he loved best – skiing, and being with his grandkids. Lennie was an attorney and member of the Quebec Bar where he practiced with distinction for over fifty-three years with passion and excellence. His smile was infectious and brought joy to all around him. His time came too soon, and he will be sorely missed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 27 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Donations in Lennie’s memory may be made to the charity or foundation of your choice.
