Of Kitigan Zibi, passed away at home on October 2, 2023, at the age of 43. Daughter of Claudette Commanda. Beloved friend of the late Darcy Castor. Dear sister of Curtis Nodin Commanda, Penny-Lynn Campbell (Philip Hamelin), Stacey Campbell. Survived by many aunts, uncles that she loved very much both LIVING AND DEAD as well as many friends, cousins, sisters, brothers by blood or otherwise. May she be met with love by her ancestors.
Leona will be waked at the Kitigan Zibi Funeral Home from Wednesday October 4th 1pm to Friday October 6th 1:45pm. A religious service will be held at the Holy Rosary Church Friday October 6th at 2pm, the interment will follow at the Kitigan Zibi Cemetery.
