Léo Fidèle Chouinard
March 25, 1931 – June 16, 2023
With great sorrow his family announces his passing on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Villa Minto Nursing Home in Cochrane at the age of 92. He leaves in mourning his daughter Juliette (Richard Smith) of Cochrane.
He also leaves in mourning his brother: Wilbrod (Elenore) Chouinard and his sister-in-law Thérèse Chouinard. He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Léo is predeceased by his wife Rita (née Décarie) Chouinard, his parents David and Georgianna (née Turcotte) Chouinard, his siblings: Wilfrid (Florence), Yvonne Gagné, Odule, Claude, Gérard, Adrienne, Juliette and Paul.
Visitation will be held Génier Gauthier funeral Home, 70, 7e Ave. South, Cochrane on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
The Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11 am at the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church with Father Maxwell officiating followed by the interment at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
