It is with heavy hearts that the families of Lensie Murdock Goosney announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, at the age of 76 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 54 years Erma nee Payne His Children; Marlene (Joe), Arron (Dale), Iesha (Hollis), His Grandchildren; Selita, Shayden (Brianna), and Kaden, His fur babies Sally, Meeko, His sisters; Lorraine Blanchard (Hedley), Nancy, Elaine Dyke (Dwight), His sister-in-laws; Shirley Bennett (Sterling), Daisy Payne, Frances Payne (Ludlow), Jean Payne (Boyd), Bonnie Hines (Carl), Pearl Payne, and Josephine Chubbs (Robert), His brother in laws; Charles Payne (Tina), Hubert Payne (Darlene), Ivan Payne, Donald Payne (Michelle), and Dwight Payne (Tanya),We would also like to express our love and gratitude to his special niece Stephanie (Warren), his nephew James and Thomas for all they have done for him. Also, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his granddaughter; Ashley Decker, his parents; Hebert and Hannah Goosney, his sisters; Geneva Hynes (Cyril), Vida Nicolle (Walter), Rellie Payne (Carl), Hazel Mackenzie (Hugie), his brother; Coylie Goosney, and his father-in-law; Hector Payne.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Gospel Hall in Parsons Pond, NL, on Friday, January 27th, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, January 28th, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with Mr. Brody Thibodeau officiating with the burial to follow at the Gospel Hall Cemetery in Parsons Pond, NL.
