Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday August 13, 2023 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late James Brown (1994). Dear mother of Bob (Jean), Ron (Diane) and Ralph (Ingrid). Predeceased by her son Russell (1999). Cherished grandmother of Lisa (Graham), Ryan (Collette), Steph (Marc), Michelle (Larry), Bryan (Joanna), Nikki (Rob). Dearest great-grandmother of Sadie, Graydon, Ryden, Alice, Madison, Logan, Morgan, Landon, Viola, Vienna, Victor, Damon and Lucas. Great-great-grandmother of Ryelynn. Predeceased by her siblings Lily, Nick, Rose and Victor. Lena will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday August 16th, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm.Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday August 17th, 2023 at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lena in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
