From Kahnawake, on September 20, 2023, at the age of 91 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thomas Lazare.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years, June Walker Lazare.
His children Rene (Sharon), Laurie (Kevin), Wade (Sas), his grandchildren Travis (Robyn), Kyle (Brianna), Owen, Jordan (Emily), Aidan, James (Krystal), Trevor, Kayla (Wahiio), Bruce (Kara), Thomas, his great grandchildren Anna, Bonnie, Hazel, Travis, Makayla, Austin, Ella, Carver, Freya, Shoheres, his brother Leroy (Annie), many nieces, nephews, godchildren, as well as several relatives and many dear friends.
Predeceased by his parents James and Maria Lazare, his brothers Rene, Albert, his sisters Pauline and Doris.
Tommy (Baba) was one of the original KFB members and long-time 4th degree member of the Knights of Colombus.
He was entrusted to the Poissant and Deer funeral home.
The family will welcome relatives and friends on Sunday September 24, 2023, from 11:30 followed by the funeral services on Monday September 25, at 2pm at the St-Francis Xavier church.
No burial, cremation to follow at later date.
Tommy (Baba) will always be loved, missed and remembered as a good, kind and humble man.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Knights of Colombus or Kahnawake Fire Brigade.
