Lawrence passed peacefully on July 19th, 2024 at the Amberwood Suites
at the age of 82 years old.
Born to George and Mary McGregor (nee Toulouse) both predeceased. Lawrence is predeceased by his loving wife Annabelle McGregor (nee Recollet) and grandson Justin McGregor.
Lawrence will be greatly missed by his children Larry McGregor (Debbie), Sandra McGregor and Chadwick McGregor. Survived by loving grandchildren Rebecca McGregor, Haley McGregor, Kobie McGregor, Rayva Belle and great grandchild Jason McGregor. Survived by his brothers George McGregor and sister Sharon Trudeau (Leo). Lawrence was predeceased by his siblings Dolphus, Wilfred (Raymond) Mcgregor, Stella Diane, Gloria, Mildred, William and Roger. He will be missed by his Recollet in-laws and many nieces, nephews in both McGregor and Recollet families.
Lawrence built his log house for his beautiful wife, and the bridge across Post Creek. He worked at Dominion Bridge as a crane operator in Toronto and many years working in public works making roads in Wahnapitae First Nation and maintenance of band grounds.
Lawrence loved his Friday visits at the Royal Canadian Legion in Capreol having his favorite Coors Light.
He loved his country classics, especially Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Chet Atkins, George Jones, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. He owned several guitars and he loved to sing and play with family and friends.
He loved to laugh, sing and had quick wit. He had a sharp tongue using F-bombs and swears. But loved company. Baamaa Pii Lawrence – see you

Funeral Prayers on
Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at 12:00
in the Lougheed Hanmer/Capreol Chapel.
Interment to follow in the Wahnapitae First Nation Cemetery.
Shigan Rd, Wahnapitae First Nation.
