Cameron, Lawrence “Bubba” Douglas – It is with great sadness we the family announce the passing of Lawrence “Bubba” Cameron on May 6, 2024 at his residence. Born on July 6, 1960 he was a son of the late Gordon and Lena (Cameron) Stoddart. Lawrence is survived by his children, Terrie Buchanan (Michael) and Douglas Townsend (Margaret); grandchildren, Alex, Cole, Casey and Kaiden; siblings, Roseanne Stoddart (Keith), Elaine Chetwynd (Edgar), Frank Stoddart (Susan), Franklin Stoddart (Carla) and Carla Stoddart (Terry); many nieces and nephews. Lawrence loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him so much joy. He enjoyed talking with his family members on the phone. Lawrence also enjoyed playing cards. There will be a public visitation held from 1-3 pm on Sunday, May 12, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
