Laurene B. (Erb) Hallman
Feb. 11, 1932 – Oct. 10, 2023
Passed away peacefully October 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Born in Wellesley Ontario, she settled in Baden where she devoted herself to her family. Loving wife to David A. Hallman for 67 years. Loved mother of Marilyn (Bruce) Meyers, Patricia (Carson) Russell and Gary Hallman. Cherished grandmother to Rachel Daly, Angelee Hooton, Jack Hooton, Brandon Meyers, Chad (Shauna) Meyers and Jillian (Jason) Roberts; great-grandmother to Tristan, Jack, and Leah Daly.
Predeceased by her parents David and Nancy (Lebold) Erb. Survived and lovingly remember by her sister Ellen (Don) Cober, sisters and brothers-in-law, Willa Albrecht, Flo (Don) Steers, Miriam Sallans, Jan (Gord) Burmaster and Sharon (Ron) Albrecht, Elton (Irene Stockdale) Kropf. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy and husband Hubert Yantzi, Willard Sallans, Earle and Edith Erb, Sylvia Kropf, and Don Albrecht.
Laurene was a long-time member of Rosebank BIC Church involved in teaching children’s Sunday School and various activities of the church. She was also a bookkeeper and homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing, and her flower gardens. Her servant heart blessed her family through the years.
Visitation at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, Saturday October 14 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Celebration of Life service to be held at Rosebank B.I.C. Church, 1434 Huron Rd., Petersburg, ON Sunday, October 15 at 2 p.m.
