Laura May Good (Newman)
February 2nd, 1936 – February 13th, 2024
It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura May Good, 88, of Milton on February 13th, 2024.
Born to the late Henry and Viola Newman of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Good Sister to Henry (Kaye), Lillian (Pat) Lewis (Louise), William (Dolly) and will be missed by her family Margaret (Harold), Stanley (Kathryn), Charles (Linda), John Wayne, Philip, Arthur, Christine (Lawrence). Laura will be sadly missed by her children Dianne (Roy), Ronald (Laurie) and Sharon (Frank), her grandchildren, Melanie, Michael (Shalyn), Megan (Matt), Jessica (David), Dustin, Courtney and her 7 great grandchildren plus 1 that will make his presence in the world soon and she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Laura put many tireless hours into her charity work with the Eastern Star and the Salvation Army and working at the Seniors’ Centre. She gave all of herself to everyone. She never turned anyone away. She loved to go camping with family, playing card games and being with her church family.
The family will receive visitors at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton (905) 878-4452 on
Friday February 16, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. An Eastern Star service of tribute will take place at 6:30 p.m.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel.
There will be a private family interment.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Salvation Army Acton Corps. would be appreciated.
