Obituary
Larry passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Born on June 30, 1965 in Oshawa, Ontario, Larry William Spears, of Owen Sound, was in his 58th year.
Loving father of Amanda Scott (Rae), Kara Spears (Damon Eyre), Sarah Austin (Chris) and Melissa Spears (Travis Scott). Proud grandfather of Shyanne, Isaiah, Mason, Avalee, Parker, Presley, Beau, Belle, Kolton, Kylee and Rielle. Dear brother of Darlene Magyar, Susan Tolhurst, Kelly Steffler, Kenny Spears, Kevin Spears, Samantha Reid and Annie Benoit. Predeceased by his parents, Ivan Spears and Enid Reid and his brother, Daniel Spears. He will be forever remembered by Tammy Le Gourrierec, the mother of his children and friend. Larry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Funeral Service for Larry will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W, Owen Sound on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with David Fries officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
