Kristina Lynn Strong died peacefully at the University Hospital, London after a short hospitalization. It gives family solace to know that waiting to embrace Kris was her family of angels, who Kris has dearly missed. Always generous in life, Kris was a registered organ donor and this decision also provides solace to her family that others were given the priceless gift of life.
Kris was well known for her sharp wit, keen intelligence, and generous spirit. She was always looking after others and we as family were recipients of this enduring love. The dedication she showed to her family was also bestowed on friends and her RBC family at work. Kris also had the same endearing quality as her mom, Cheri, easily connecting and interested in other people’s stories and making new friendships along the road of life.
Loved and dearly missed by her son Jackson Boyce, father Doug Riehl, and brother Jon Riehl (Karina). Kris had a special relationship with nephew, Reece Potter (Meghan), great aunt to Jace and Kesler, and nephew Hayden Potter. Her uncles and aunts are saddened by the loss of a special niece. Survived by Laurie Henderson (Sam), Paul Radford, John Potter, Barb Potter (friend Mark), Jason Potter (Gillian). Also survived by aunts and uncles Bonnie Mustone, Bob Riehl (Gina), Larry Riehl (Lisa) and Brenda Fitzsimons (Kelso). Kris will also be dearly missed by the many cousins who enjoyed her sharp wit during family dinners and special family gatherings. Predeceased by grandparents Bill and Gladys Riehl (2007, 2022), Joe and June Potter (1998, 1996), mother Cheri Riehl (2022), sister Nina Potter (2013), aunt Jo Ann Radford (2021).
A private family funeral will be held March 17, 2023 and a grave side interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the charity of your choice is appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Home.
