Keith Kindness of Meaford passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the age of 74.
Born in Toronto on June 8, 1948, a son of the late James and Margaret (nee Mees) Kindness.
Keith is now reunited with his cherished wife and best friend Susan (nee Bogert) Kindness who predeceased him on July 22, 2020.
He was the much-loved father and grandfather of Kevin Kindness (Carla) and their children Ryan and Brayden, and Joe Kindness (Michelle) and their children Max and Lennon.
Keith will be missed by his sister Helen Lawson (late Richard), by his brother Bill Kindness (Shona), and by Susan’s family. He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews and their families.
Family meant the world to Keith, and he loved spending time with his four Grandsons, taking them for tractor rides, showing them old cars, holding them and telling them stories and sharing his wisdom with them. He enjoyed classic cars, home renovations, sailing, music, BBQing and spending time with family around the bonfire. Keith always admired and looked up to his siblings throughout his childhood and adult life. Dogs have always been an important part of Keith’s life, and he considered them to be part of the family.
Keith’s life will be celebrated at a later date with family and close friends. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
