Parcourez la nécrologie de Kim Patrick Saturday September 14th 2024 résidant dans la province Colombie britanique pour le détail des funérailles.
Susanna (Kim) Patrick was born on September 26, 1940 in Rossland, BC. She passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital on September 14, 2024. She would have been 84 years old on the 26th.
Kim was predeceased by her parents, Effie and Joe, her sister Helen (Al) and her brother Al (Dori). She will be loved and missed by her brothers Rick (Carole) and Doug (Karin). Her nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews will always remember spending time with Auntie Kim and the motto – “what happens at Auntie Kim’s stays at Auntie Kim’s”. The ICC (Ice Cream Connection) was always available to both young and the young at heart to have a special cone with treats at the bottom.
Kim was an active member of AA, serving as a delegate for many years. She celebrated her 50th AA birthday in 2022 surrounded by family and many of the friends that she had made and/or sponsored over the years.
Kim worked for a long time as a dispatcher for Sunshine Cabs before taking a job at Turning Point in Richmond. It was here that Kim found her true calling and was able to share her years of experience in sobriety to help countless people come to their own. Kim could always be counted on to take a phone call or share a coffee with anyone who needed her help.
Kim has gone to the big meeting in the sky and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vancouver Children’s Hospital Cancer Ward or the Make a Wish Foundation.
