Obituary for Kim Patricia Pike (nee White)

It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Kim Patricia Pike (nee White) on September 24, 2023. Kim was born at Vancouver General Hospital on September 5, 1959. Kim lived most of her 64 years in the North Vancouver & Surrey areas.
Kim is predeceased by her father Melville White, and aunts, uncles and cousin Lisa. Kim is survived by her mother, Patricia White (nee Phillips), her husband of almost 36 years, Tom Pike, daughter Josie (Norm), son Kyle, sister Pam, brothers Jeff & Brad (Dawn), sister in law Michele, aunts (Barb, Pauline, Terry & Patsy), uncle (Mike), cousins (Nicole, Simone, Andrea) nieces (Chantal & Kate), nephews (Chris, Scott, Blake & Eli), great nieces (Ava & Tessa), great nephews (Liam & Luke), her long time friend Liza, along with many others friends and colleagues.
Kim attended school at Sherwood Elementary and graduated from Windsor Secondary, in North Vancouver. After she finished her schooling, and becoming mother to Josie & Kyle she worked a number of different jobs in her 64 years, starting her 1st job at the White Spot, then there was Purdy’s, the Co-Op and in the past 6 years, Kim enjoyed working at Port Kells Nurseries, working with plants, flowers & alongside her co-workers.
Kim’s passion in life included playing golf, gardening, reading, cribbage, cooking, eating, comedy, listening to music, going for walks with her son Kyle, watching Josie play sports as well as watching and cheering on her teams, the Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Blue Jays.
Kim lives on through her generous gift of life, and forever in our hearts and memories.
Life changes in a heartbeat, so live each day to the fullest and be kind.
A private celebration of Kim’s life will be planned for a later date. Fond memories of Kim & condolences can be left on the bottom of this memorial page.
