Kevin Denzil Baker, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away at home in his own bed during the early hours of Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 52. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Denzil Baker; and brother-in-law, John Prokopchuk. He is survived by his mother, Iris Baker; sister, Kathy Prokopchuk, and her children, Natasha, Nathan, Naomi, and Nadia; and by his cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Kevin battled the complications of diabetes for quite some time, while fiercely holding on to his passions in life. He will be remembered for his love of music, beautiful things, cooking, gardening, travelling, and a good laugh. Kevin was grateful for the care he received from friends, and the compassionate and faithful care from all the healthcare workers who supported him.
Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan, on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. For those so wishing, a viewing opportunity will be available during the hour prior to the Funeral Service, starting at 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to Diabetes Canada (diabetes.ca).
