Obituary of Kent Tuthill
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Kent Tuthill announce of his sudden passing on Sunday January 1, 2023 at the age of 71 while at his home with family in Kingston, Ontario. He leaves behind his brat wife Dawna (nee Tanner) his step-children through marriage Neil and Sherri. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Freddy, Justin, Kiara, Kitran, Logan and Tobyn. He will also be fondly remembered by his niece Jackie.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday January 14th, 2023 at 7283 Roger Stevens Dr, Smiths Falls, ON K7A 4S6 (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). Time will be announced at a later date. A link will be provided to all those whom cannot attend in person to view and participate in the celebration online at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Special Olympics of Virginia Beach. The Special Olympics was a cause to which Kent had deep ties with Sherri as she was growing up in the Virginia Beach community. We ask that you make donations in memory of Kent to Special Olympics Virginia by going to www.specialolympicsva.org and clicking on “donate” at the top right of the screen. Please be sure to add that it’s in Kent’s memory when prompted about whether or not this is a memorial gift.
