It is with great sadness we announce the death of Kenneth Kevin Hachey of Miramichi, who passed away at the age of 64 after a lengthy illness at Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 22, 2023.
Ken was the loving husband of Mona and an amazing father to daughter Tricia Rooney(Brent), and sons Jonathan (Rachel) and Bradley. He was the worlds most treasured grand dad to his grandchildren: Chandler, Landon, Bryce, Presley and Noah.
He was the son of the late Amedie and Catherine Hachey. He is survived by sister Doris Harris, brothers Ernest, Larry (Merina), Leon (Lori), Steven (Loretta). He was predeceased by his siblings Allan, Charles,David, Francis, Leo, Leah, and Irene.
He was a beloved big brother to his in laws, Norma (Guilo), Jimmy (Kelly), Carol (Ronnie) Lester, Gary(Sherley), Catharine (Kristin), Sandra (Charlie). And many nieces and nephews.
In the last 2 years Ken was blessed with a wonderful caring healthcare team. A special thanks to Dr Gerard Losier, Tracy Fournier, and his special Extra Mural nurses Natasha, Marley, Jodi and Krissy and many others as well as his special Diabetic nurse Roslyn.
Ken was a man of many talents, and he always lent a hand to anyone in need. He was very generous with his time and his knowledge. Ken had a heart of gold and a smile that was warm and genuine and to know him was to love him. Ken loved to travel looking forward to his yearly trips to Punta Cana.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Funeral Services will held on Tiesday March 28, 2023 at 11 am at St Mary’s Anglican Church, officiated by Reverend Perry Cooper, 207 Wellington St Miramichi NB.
Reception will follow at the church.
