The family of Keith Erickson sadly announce his passing on May 6, 2024. Keith, a longtime resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in Kelowna, British Columbia.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of over 40 years, Karen; his children Lisa (Steve), Kris, and Samantha (Matthew), and his grandchildren Emma, Theo, Dax and Miller.
Keith was predeceased by his parents Carol and Arnold and survived by brother Tim and sisters Trish and Tara.
Keith was born in Edmonton, Alberta and attended elementary and secondary school in Dawson Creek where he made many lifelong friends. He worked in auto parts sales for a time in Prince George which complimented his knowledge and interest in cars. He then moved into a 20-year career in the Insurance industry in Dawson Creek, forging many community connections.
His family will miss his goofy sense of humour, his endless “Dad” jokes and good-natured teasing. Keith enjoyed boating, hunting, curling, golfing, and riding his Harley. Keith was a wonderful cook, and we had many delicious meals made by Dad. Some of our favourites were corn fritters, fried chicken and devilled eggs. As a family we will cherish the many great times spent together at our cabin at Moberly Lake.
A Memorial Celebration will be held in Keith’s honour in July, a date and location to be announced.
