Obituary of Kathy Edgar
At Wingham & District Hospital on November 29, 2024, Kathy (Ford) Edgar formerly of Gorrie, passed away at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Bob Edgar (2008). Loving mother of Dale & Linda Edgar and Dianne & Dan Hiltz all of Gorrie. Missed and loved by grandchildren; Jeremy & Tessa Hiltz of Ailsa Craig, Jason & Brooke Hiltz of Gorrie, Ansley & Phil Drennan of Waterloo and Caitlin & Evan Wittenberg of Nova Scotia. Great-grandma of eight; Barrett, Colby, Easton and Claire Hiltz, Elise and Maya Drennan and Koen and Sage Wittenberg. Sister-in-law of Jack & Mary Edgar. Kathy will be missed dearly by her nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Alyson Edgar, parents William & Marjorie Ford, sisters Phyllis McMichael (Glenn), Joyce Rizzo (Sandy) and Marguerite Murphy (Bill).
A private graveside service will be held at Gorrie Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Kathy’s life at the Gorrie Hall on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through McBurney Funeral Home.
