It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ima and Safta, on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Daughter of the late Leopold (Zvi ben Yehuda) and the late Miriam. Devoted wife of the late Dov. Ima of Hana and Alvin Marton, Steve (Zvi) and Ellen Ehrenfeld. Cherished Safta of Daphne and Adam, Odelia and Daniel, Erin and Stephanie. Loving great-grandmother of Joshua, Ethan, Ryan, Shaya and Atara. Predeceased by her brothers Shayu, Bela and Alex, as well as her family who perished in the Holocaust.
Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ilan Benjamin, Dr. Golda Tradounsky and the staff of 3rd floor, Mount Sinai Hospital, and to her caregivers for their dedicated, compassionate and extraordinary care.
Graveside service on Tuesday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shomrim Laboker Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Congregation Cemetery, Shomrim Laboker Section (B30), de la Savane. Shiva at her home Tuesday following burial until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Congregation.
