It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Kathy on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Beloved wife of Bob Rose. Kathy was a loving mother. She was sadly predeceased by her sons, Craig and Glen (Laura). Dearest sister of Irene, and Auntie of Joanne and Mariella in England. Kathy adored her grandchildren, Danielle and Colin. Cherished friend of Wendy, Jackie, Dave, Nancy, Jim and Viv, Dorothy, and Dorothy in England.
Kathy was a long time member of the Beverly Golf and Country Club and a lover of the arts, from Shakespeare to Comedy, Jazz to Opera. Kathy was very social and had a great sense of style. She loved to laugh and made friends wherever she went. We will miss Kathy’s kind heart and generous spirit. Thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their care and compassion.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Sunday January 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King Street East, Dundas, ON (additional parking at the Air Force Club).
If desired, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated. Do a good deed in her memory. Kathy would like that.
