Karen Lois Morgan
July 23rd, 1961 – June 24th, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Karen Morgan, who passed away at home after a short battle with cancer.
Karen was the ever loving wife of Russell Morgan for 32 years. Loving mother of Jennifer Carter ( Ryan Clayton ) of Smithfield, Margaret Carter of Belleville and Shane Morgan (April Bonus) of Trenton. Loving stepmother to Jennifer Morgan of Surrey, England. Karen will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Karen Lynn Clayton and Geoffrey Clayton of Smithfield. Karen will always be in the hearts of her loving sisters, Tracey Jeffe (Pierre) of Carleton Place, Debbie Young of Courtney, BC and Toni Graillon (Mario) of Gibson’s, BC.
Karen was a proud Canadian military veteran that did service in Canada’s Arctic as well as other locations around the world.
The family wishes to thank Renee Coates, Karen’s sister-in-law, who voluntarily became Karen’s palliative care nurse in her last days, Paramed home nursing service, and Dr. Ashley Minuk.
Keeping with Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit at WEAVER Life Centre – East, 29 Bay St. Trenton on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 (Her Birthday) from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Karen’s life will take place at the Chapel of St. Clement Astra (8 Wing Trenton) on Monday, July 24th, 2023 at 1 PM. Reception to follow at 413 Wing Association. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
