It is with loving & heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our amazing husband, dad, granddad, son, brother and uncle, Junior Williams on August 8th, 2023, at Maison McCulloch Hospice. He was married to his soulmate, Carole (née Pinard). Son of Clarence (predeceased) and Esmay Williams both of Barbados. He was a dedicated, loving & caring father to Jermaine of Barbados and Angelo. Loving granddad to 5 beautiful children all in Barbados Sharia, Janobi, D’Angelo, Amaari and Malik. He was a loving brother, brother-in-law & uncle to so many whom he had much respect for. Junior’s passion for music was where he found so much joy singing to anyone who was in his presence. He looked forward to entertaining at many of the long-term care residents in the Greater City of Sudbury. He loved his Costco family, going to work was never a chore for him as he looked forward to walking into the warehouse and spend time with his buddies. Camping at Green Bay Lodge and dropping his fishline in the water was his peaceful place. For 25 years Junior sang for guests on various cruise lines. He made so many wonderful friendships with crew members he was interested in learning their languages from Polish to Philippino. He also loved jamming with the various musicians on board. Junior’s positive nature and warm smile affected everyone that crossed his path. It was an honour to be his wife and soulmate. A journey that was beautiful and will continue to be until the day I hold you again Sir. Heaven has gained a kindred spirit and Junior you are now singing in a choir of angels. May you rest in peace for eternity. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Leukemia Foundation of Canada or to the Northern Cancer Foundation will be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
