1939-2024
June Patricia Stevenson of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully in
her sleep at the Tobique Valley Manor on January 12, 2024.
June was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on April 22, 1939. She was the
daughter of the late Burns and Pearle (Ruff) Edgar. June leaves behind
her son, Robert Stevenson of Saint John, NB; her sisters, Faye Edgar
of Fredericton, NB, Gay Bedford of McLaughlin, NB; her brothers, Gary
Edgar (Guilda) and Thomas Ashworth (Cheryl), both of British Columbia;
along with several nieces and nephews.
June was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alfred Stevenson;
her son, Ralph Stevenson; her sisters, Joan Shirley and Lora Edgar;
her brothers, Murray, Harvey «Blair», Floyd, and Blake
Edgar.
A graveside service celebrating June’s life will be held at Three
Brooks Cemetery on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2 pm. Mr. Kenneth
Campbell officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
