Juliette Landry Obituary
Juliette Landry of St-Joseph (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away suddenly at CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on Sunday September 22 at the age of 88. Born in Cap-Pelé on September 17, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Devina (Cormier) Richard. She worked as a teacher until her retirement, volunteered for many different organizations in her community, was in several choirs and was a member of the Dames d’Acadie de Memramcook. Her family was her pride and she will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Anne Landry (Barry Martz) of Stouffville, ON, Francine Landry (Liam McGuigan) of Dieppe, Marise Landry (Jeff Carter) and Chantale Landry (Chris Barry) of Moncton, five sons, Thomas (Nancy Roberts) Landry of Moncton, Mario (Gisèle) Landry of Dieppe, Léon (Denise) Landry of La Montain, Serge (Jill Holmes) Landry of Moncton and Martin (Trish King) Landry of Montreal, 19 grandchildren, Alina, Olivier, Étienne, Geneviève, Sara, Ana, Simon, Guylaine, Patrick, Brigitte, Érica, Montana, Caroline, Laurent, Mélia, Thomas, Caedus, Calleb and Hugo, six great grandchildren, three brothers, Léon (Colette) Richard of Moncton, Euloge (Cécile) Richard of Cap-Pelé and Laurie (late Anna) Richard of Dieppe. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Francis, two sisters, Aurore and Lorraine and four brothers Joseph, Valerie, Hervé and Adélard. The family wishes to thank the medical staff involved in her care. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday September 26 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Friday September 27 at 11 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
