Obituary of Judy Minshall
Minshall: Carol «Judy» Ann (née McFarland) –
A resident of Chatham, Judy Minshall passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on December 2, 2024 at the age of 72.
Born in Es, Judy was the daughter of the late Leo and Rita (née Lyons) McFarland.
Loving mother to Chris and April Minshall.
Caring grandma to Morgaine, Haley and Courtney.
Adored nana to Juniper.
Sister to Cathy, Cindy, Mike, Marilyn, Joyce, Charlie, Bruce and Mary.
Predeceased by siblings Patricia, Geraldine, Nancy and Leo.
Judy loved her job as DSW and was a fierce advocate for the people she worked with. She had a background in arts and took that passion and knowledge and created an art program called the studio that allowed people with disabilities to express themselves through artistry. Judy was an amazing nana and could always be coerced into playing with Juniper.
She will be deeply missed by many friends and extended family.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Liturgy on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown.
Cremation has taken place.
Donations made in memory of Judy to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
