Judy Hillier
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Judy Ann Hillier of Fortune announces her passing. Judy passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, at the age of 72.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Roland; sons, Roger, Ryan (Amanda); grandchildren, Noah, Caitlin, Cole, Preston, MacKenzie; sisters, Eileen, Vera (Vince), Betty (Harvey); brothers in-law, George (Anita), Clyde (Marie), Ambrose (Cindy); sisters in-law, Delores (Fred), Roma, Beatrice; a large number of nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Judy was predeceased by parents, Donald & Sally Baker; mother in-law, Jane Hillier; brother, Herman, brother in-law, Jack; nephews, Stephen, Ethan and Eric.
In honoring Judy’s wishes, cremation will take place.
The Hillier/Baker Family will be accepting visitors on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the All Saints Anglican Chapel, Fortune, NL from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune, NL. Inurnment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank, NL.
In Judy’s memory donations may be made to Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Palliative Care Unit
Our family can’t express enough our thanks to the staff of the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for their love and support to Judy and our family during the final days of her journey.
We like to think of her smiling when she took her first breath in Jesus’ presence.
