Obituary of Judith Elizabeth Loach
LOACH, Judith Elizabeth (Judy) – peacefully, at Marina Point, on Friday, May 12, 2023, in her 85th year. Much-loved mother of The Rev. Dr. Jeff Loach and his wife, Diana. Predeceased by her loving husband, Roy (2019), her brother, Denver McLeod (2022), and her sister, Shirley-Anne Ruggles (2022). Judy was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a member of First Baptist Church, North Bay, for most of her life. A friend to more people than can be counted, Judy worked in various downtown businesses and was a volunteer at the North Bay Museum for many years. She was well-known for taking photos during the Christmas Walk. Friends and loved ones will be received at the Martyn Funeral Home, 464 Wyld Street, North Bay, on Wednesday, May 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will take place at First Baptist Church, 1250 Cassells Street, on Thursday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Union Cemetery will follow a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Bible Society, the Gideons, or your local church.
