YUE-MARTIN – Joyce of Espanola left us far too soon on May 17th, 2024 at the age of 46, with her loving husband Jason (Martin) by her side.
Married to her high school sweetheart, Joyce and Jason shared a journey marked by teamwork and unwavering support. Together they raised two incredible children, Colten and Emerson, who were the light of Joyce’s life and her greatest pride. You wouldn’t find her happier than cheering on C-Mar at the rink, or snuggling with Emmie for a movie night.
Dear daughter of Ming & Betty Yue, and daughter-in-law to Brenda and the late Bert Martin. Cherished sister of Dennis (Sharon) Yue and aunt to their children Jaiden, Mia and Keaton. Sister-in-law to the late Chris Martin, and Derek (Melody) Martin and aunt to Jared, Ty, Jeana and Parker.
Joyce held dear to her heart many strong and long-lasting connections with friends, colleagues and relatives, creating memories that will forever be celebrated.
Joyce’s strength, tenacity and loyalty were the cornerstones of her character. She fiercely protected and cared for her loved ones, always putting their needs above her own. She told it like it was. Her smile, fiery spirit and strong wit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family would like to thank A.B. Ellis Public School, The Espanola Palliative Care Team, and Joyce’s close friends and families for all of their support.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Espanola Cemetery on Saturday June 1st, 2024 at 12 Noon. Following the service, all are invited to the Espanola Legion to celebrate Joyce. A lunch will be served. If so desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Espanola Regional Hospital Palliative Care. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
