Obituary
Passed peacefully away at her home in Riverhead, S.M.B., while surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Joyce Williams (nee Corcoran), in her 68th year.
Predeceased by her parents Leo & Anita Corcoran, granddaughter Austin & brother in-law Wayne Harvey. (Click on highlighted name to view each obituary.)
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her loving husband Kevin; her four children: Keith, Dale (Cathy), Pamela (Leslie) and Adam (Jordynn); brothers: Brian (Juanita), Tony (Trudy), Michael (Paula) and Leo (Olga); sisters: Leona (who has always been there for her), Isabelle, Madonna (Gary), Gwen (Dave), Mary (Dave), Laura (Felicien), Clara (Tim) and Anne (Valentine); precious grandchildren: Gabrielle, Parker, Brittany, Emma, Elijah, Grace, Evan, Tanner, Brayden, Maddie, Chloe, Jett, Addy and Dalton, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law (especially Norah) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Joyce’s family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre; Nurse Jaclyn O’Reilly, Community Support Program, who provided the Palliative End of Life Care and Dr. Joshua Bragg for their excellent care and respect which allowed Joyce to pass peacefully away at home, as was her wish.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Friday, May 19, from 6 – 9 pm. A Funeral Mass and celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s, on Saturday, May 20, at 10am.
