It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Madeline Stewart with family at her side on Friday May 19, 2023 at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes, Lindsay in her 93 year. She was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Stewart. Cherished mother to Karen (Ron Raymer), Wanda (Steve Goard) and Wayne (Carolyn) Stewart. Cherished grandma of Dana (Joel), Teresa (Jeff), Julie Anne (Kevin), Ryan (Chrystal) Stefanie (Zachary), and Stewart (Brooklyn) also 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Dear sister of Marlene (Bryce) Hardy, and brother Floyd (Beryl) Kimble. Predeceased by her brother Lorne Kimble. She will be missed and remembered by extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare for their care and compassion during her stay with them. A celebration of life will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street Lindsay, on Friday May 26, 2023. Visitation from 1:00pm till time of service at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Sick Kids Foundation or Boys and Girls Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family, and be made at Mackey Funeral Home by cheque or online at www.mackeys.ca
