PITT, JOYCE (nee Lecour)
Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Cassellholme, home for the agedon Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the age of 93 years. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Pitt and the loving mother to Michael(Lorraine), Susan(late Gary), Tom(Paulette), Barb(late Mitch), and Albert(Joanne) Pitt. She was the cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Darrell and Joanne Pitt, Brent and late Adam Bowman, Greg Pitt, Justin, Matthew, Renee Gagne and Jessica, Jordan and Abby Pitt. Joyce was a cherished great-grandmother to Hailey Law, Riley and Tristen Pitt, Eleanor Gagne, Emma Dooling and Cohen Gagne, Molly Clark, Sam Bowman and Charlotte and Wyatt Pitt. Also survived by her dear sisters-in-law Sheila Vachon and Judy Albert, and brother-in-law Mel Pitt, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Albert Lecour and Ethel(Carbis) Lecour. She is also predeceased by her siblings, sisters Orleana McDonald and Albry Lecour and brothers Raymond, Vincent, and Bernie Lecour. The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home(North Bay) on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 1:30pm. If desired, donations to Right to Life, North Bay, the Pro Cathedral of the assumption or Cassellholme-Home for the Aged would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Prins and all the exceptional hardworking staff in Cassellholme, especially 3rd floor, Willow.
