Joseph (Joe) William Lindley passed away suddenly on April 28, 2024, in Sparwood, BC, leaving behind a trail of laughter and memories. Joe was born on August 18, 1955, in Rossland, BC. He was a loving father, cherished grandfather, and nature enthusiast. Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and mischief that will be forever cherished by those who knew him.
Joe’s love for his family was immense. He was the proud father of four children: David, Tamarra, Natasha, and Nicholas. His grandchildren, Morgan, Maddex, Callum, and Fraser, were his shining light, bringing great joy and happiness into his life.
A lover of the great outdoors, Joe often sat alongside a creek or river, watching life pass by. Joe loved taking a drive in one of his trackers up the mountain with his brother Kelly, nephews Keuran and Dion, and his friends, always a smile on his face and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. His adventurous spirit and love for nature inspired all those around him.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, William, his life partner, Rose, and his brothers, Ben, and Doug. He is survived by his four children, David, Tamarra (Jeff), Natasha (Stuart), and Nicholas; his four grandchildren, his mother Lucie; his brother Kelly (Lynda), and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.
While Joseph may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His spirit, his love, and his legacy of laughter will continue to guide us and surround us constantly.
In lieu of flowers, our dad would likely request that you raise a beer in his honour, tell a joke to a stranger, share a smile with someone you love or take a drive with a side-by-side. His spirit lives on in the laughter he inspired and the memories he created.
