Peacefully passed away on Monday June 17, 2024 at Fairview Lodge, at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of the late Isabel (2007). Loving father of Heather and her husband Bob Siratty and his son Robert Emoff. Dear brother of Roy (Margaret) and Jeanette and brother-in-law of Theresa, Janet, and Betty. Predeceased by his siblings Ovilda (Beaver), Archie (Jeanette), Lloyd (Laura), Junior, Joe, Raymond, Walter, and Leo (Caville).
Special thanks to all the staff of Fairview Lodge for their care and compassion.
Bernie was a dedicated Blue Jays fan and loved to play the guitar. He was a member of Legion Branch #43 in Oshawa and CAW 222 and retiree of AP Auto Parts in Rexdale.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m
