Obituary of John Fehr
Fehr, John of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, September 22, 2023 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 55 years Nancy(Krahn) Fehr. Dear father of Anne Begley of London and Lisa Toenders(Jason) of Camlachie. Loving grandfather of Sullivan and Levi. Brother of Peter Fehr(Anna), Isaak Fehr(Helena), Jacob Fehr(Josephine), Justina Voth(John), Tina Hiebert(Edward), Agatha Thiessen(Peter), Sara Klassen(Abram), Abram Fehr, Helena Banman(Cornelius) and Elisabeth Wall(Cornelius). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 24, 1938, son of the late Peter and Agatha(Epp) Fehr. John was a farmer for many years and retired from Elgin Handles. He loved working in his garage on metal work, tinkering and fixing cars. He enjoyed baking pies, cookies, borscht and chicken noodle soup. His greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
