John Tritthardt, 75, of Sherwood Park, AB, peacefully passed away on October 16, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
John was born on May 12, 1949, in Loon Lake Sask. Then Moved to Dawson Creek, BC area and lived there for next 70 years. John worked in the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry and was passionate, hard working and successful in the industry. In 1972, he met Donna Whittaker in Dawson Creek, and they married in November 1975. John and Donna went on to have 2 sons, Brian (’79) and Wayne (’81). John officially retired in 2009 after 43 years in the field. While retired, John had time to pursue his love of Fishing, Camping, spending time in the back country, playing crib and visiting family and friends. He travelled with and was very involved in both of his sons’ sports leagues. John was always a huge advocate and fan of the numerous Nieces and Nephews activities and loved to spend time with his grandkids and be involved in all of their sports and activities also!
He is survived by his wife Donna, Son Brian (Louise – Caleb and Kylara), Son Wayne and Brother Will (Harold), Cousins Rosalee, Lois, Joan, Betty and their families.
John was predeceased by his Mother Jessie, Father William and his sister Eileen.
Services will be held at Park Place Funeral Home in Sherwood Park, Alberta on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
