John Terry Dennis Obituary
On February 17th, 2024, Dr. John Terry Dennis, dedicated husband, father, physician, and friend, passed away at the age of 89.
Dr. Dennis was an honourable and deeply loving man who cherished his family. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Yvonne Dennis; son, Robert Dennis; and grandchildren Yasmine, Angelisa, Anton, Anna-Mireilla, and Austin. He is predeceased by his parents John William Dennis and Annie Dennis (née Bates), and daughter Katrina Dennis (1963-2020).
Dr. Dennis found medicine to be a truly enriching and gratifying profession. He considered himself fortunate to have provided medical counsel and friendship to residents of the Bay St. George area for more than 30 years. He will forever be remembered for the compassion, generosity, and kindness he showed to his patients and friends.
A public funeral service will take place on Friday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Church, Stephenville. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. If you wish to express your condolences or memories of Dr. Dennis, you may do so on Russell’s Funeral Home (Stephenville) website.
