ROCCHIO, John- John Rocchio, 72, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 1, 2024. John was born on August 16, 1952 to Rosa (nee Paolo) and Pasquale Rocchio (d. 2014). He is survived by his four siblings Antoinette (Dan), Lina, Tony, and Frank (Anne), and his nieces and nephew (Elizabeth, River, Patrick), and many friends and extended family members who will miss his warmth and humour.
John was an entrepreneur, beginning Niagara Sun Distribution in his youth, and an avid baseball player, coaching and playing for many years.
Visitation will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Scapular Church on Tuesday October 8, 2024, at 12:30 pm followed by interment with Rite of Committal at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society
