John Lewis
Auld-Johnny’s departure comes of great shock and deep wounds gravely
felt by the people in his life.
Born August
7th, 1960in Montague to the late parents John and Anna (Birt) Auld.
Survived by
sisters Anna Lou Campbell (Kevin), Margaret Auld and Edna
Auld.Numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by
brothers Henry Auld, David Birt and sister June Creed.
Johnny loved
the people that was in his life. And he was always about friends, and
the family that loved and supported him no matter if they were blood
or not.
He would always make a point to
always tell that person how much he loved and appreciated them as
often as he could and sometimes would just give a big hug to show it.
Johnny would always have a special nickname to those, which always
make a mark and hold something special for that
person.
Johnny was sensitive and
incredibly compassionate, but he also was very stubborn and strong
willed. If he wanted to do something there was no stopping him as his
mind was determined to get it done.
In saying this
Johnny also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. These
traits defined Johnny and who he was in life. He had a passion for
woodwork making shelves, and other beautiful woodwork which he was
going to sell but it never worked out as Johnny’s big heart would end
up giving them away for free.
Johnny was
extremely passionate about his music, and he loved playing his guitar.
Being naturally gifted with music you could always hear him jamming
with his old 12 string and singing along to his favorite old country
or gospel songs and sometimes some good ol ‘rock n roll. He would love
for anyone to join in and sing while he played, and it would make his
day to have a jam session with friends.
Johnny also had a
love for fishing and would love to go with friends and have a good
time. But one of the things Johnny would enjoy the most is when summer
came, so he could gather up all his camping gear and take off camping.
He would spend all summer camping, sitting around the campfire for
hours, it was one of things Johnny loved in life and looked forward to
seeing the winter turn into spring cause summer would soon be
here.
His love for doing crossword
puzzles out on a camp chair on a sunny day or even on a rainy day was
his go to and going for his daily walks with friends. Johnny had life
struggles, but he would always rise above and pull through his hard
moments.
No fight or struggle was too big
for Johnny to conquer even when he would get knocked down. Johnny
suffered through chronic medical issues throughout his life, but
always made the best of living and never let bad health slow him down.
As well Johnny was a compassionate Christian and continued to grow in
his faith until the very end of his life.
His
role as a friend will always be remembered in the lives he touched,
and is lovely emphasized, sharing qualities of unconditional love,
strength, and generosity. Johnny would do anything to help anyone in
need, or give anything he could to people, that was his personality
and demeanor. No matter if you were a stranger or someone close you
would be always treated as a friend.
Down to his last
days his kindness never ended, and surely everyone learned something
from Johnny and will carry apart of him for the rest of their lives.
He always be remembered and loved by everyone.

Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with a private service to take
place at a later date.
