On Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Brockville General Hospital, John Veenstra entered into rest at the age of 83 years. John Veenstra beloved husband of the late Barbara Veenstra. Dear father of Linda Tolstoy (Igor), Ed Veenstra, Wendy Selleck (Sheldon) and Kevin Veenstra. Cherished grandfather of Sara, Caitlin, Ashley, Lindsay, Andrew, Eric, Brandon, Kyle, Dominick, Kayley and Braydon and great grandfather of Ten. Brother of Willy Veenstra (Linda), Dick Veenstra (Lorraine), Dina Minkhorst, Geppy Walton and Dorothy DiGirolamo (Mark). He was predeceased by his parents Nick and Alberta Veenstra, by a daughter Cindy Veenstra, by a son Wayne Veenstra and by a sister Frieda Veenstra. John is also survived by his daughter in law Tina Veenstra and by numerous nieces and nephews.
