John James «Jim» Grant Obituary
Jim was well loved by all who knew him. He was a generous friend and neighbor, who was always willing to lend a hand, share a story or a meal. Jim loved to tour the back roads in and around Southern Alberta, basking in nature or admiring well grown crops. He maintained and took pride in his yard and garden in Cowley and was pleased as punch to eat plums off of the tree for the first time two years ago. Jim considered gardening as part experiment, part patience and part enjoyment. He was a keen cook and loved to enjoy a meal with friends, followed by a round or two of crib.
He will be lovingly remembered by his friends and family. He now joins his long time love Kay.
In lieu of gifts or tributes, we ask that you play a game of cards in his honor, work in your garden, or pull a fish out of the lake and know that Jim is smiling down on you.
