It is with regret that we convey the passing of John Henry Royce on February 14, 2024 at the age of 101 years. He passed from natural causes.
John was predeceased by his first wife Marie, his eldest son David and his second wife Grace. He is survived by his youngest son Richard, his daughter in-law Maureen, his four grandchildren Krista, Adam, Scott and Andrea and his four great grand children Isabel, Damien, Evan and Owynn-Ivy.
John lived in Kleinburg, Ontario with his second wife Grace and they enjoyed world travel and were involved with many charitable organizations.
John contributed much to medical research and was a creative genius. He had an illustrious career at Defence Medical Research Laboratories in Toronto where he was the Design Engineer and supervised all departments of fabrication.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday, February 23rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
