Obituary
It is with great sadness the families of John Harry Hinks announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Deer Lake, on Monday July 1st, 2024, at the age of 82 years.
He leaves to mourn with many memories his sisters; Shelia Gilley, Caroline (Jerry) Smith and his brother Rod (Lisa). Also leaving to mourn are many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marion Hinks, his brothers, Karl, Maurice and brother-in-law Woodrow Gilley.
The family extends many special thanks to their sister-in-law Doris who spent many hours with John.

Visitation will take place at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, from the hours of 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, on at 11:00 am, with Father Anthony officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic section of the Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Rd, Deer Lake.
