John Giesen passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice faithfully and peacefully in the company of his wife of 55 years, Georgette Giesen (Lafond). Also by his side was his daughter Sophia, son-in-law Nigel, and his beloved grandchildren Allison, Bronwyn, and Kiara Gocan. John was the loving father of Roger and Felix (predeceased). John will be dearly remembered by his brother Tony and sisters-in-law Mary Ann, Anita, Ann, and Willie. Predeceased by his parents Theodorus and Maria, and his siblings Leo, Bill, Ted, Henry, Jerry, and Mary, as well as his brother & sisters-in-law David, Helen and Reik.
John was a loving, generous, and full-of-life man, and he will be deeply missed by everyone around him. Lang zul je in onze harten leven.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 11 AM.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice in London.
