November 5, 1939 – March 8, 2024
John passed away peacefully in Cornwall, Ontario. Beloved husband of Margaret Inskip (nee McGee) for 54 years. Loving son of John and Evelyn and loving brother of Evelyn, Beryl, Edna, Bill and Maureen. Devoted and proud father of John, Michael and Stephen.
John you were always there when we needed you, no problem to big or small. With loving hands and loving heart – for us, you did it all. Never selfish or unkind, no better man could we find. Not only have we lost our husband and Dad, but also our Best Friend. A pillar of strength to all of us, on you we could depend. Our hearts are full of memories, with pride we speak your name. Life goes on without you John, but nothing feels the same. We love and miss you so very much, all our love forever.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday April 6, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11 am at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A Memorial Service will be in the Chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024
