Rita Chartrand & former husband to the late Mrs. Catherine Ball (née Willis). Loving father to John Ball (Jasmine Devaney), Angela Maiden (David), the late Louise Robillard (Marcel) and Jackie Chartrand (Sylvain Quesnel). Proud grandfather of Laura Ball, Peter, Sarah, Michael & Rachael Maiden; great-grandfather to Rupert Ball, Alicia, Kaisha, Joshua, Phoebe, Jasmine Maiden. Predeceased by his parents John Ball and Emily Sperrin. John was the third generation owner & funeral director at J.W. Ball Funeral Directors in Southport, U.K. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). His body will be repatriated to his native Southport, U.K.. As a Memorial to John, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
