In loving memory of Johanna Farrar (née Ryan) who passed away at home peacefully on November 28, 2024.
Johanna was predeceased by her husband, Paul Farrar in 2018 and by her only son Christopher in 2016. Johanna was the 9th of 12 children born to Johanna and Peter Ryan, in County Tipperary, Ireland. She is survived by her sister Annie, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Johanna, known for her frequent walks around her Etobicoke neighbourhood, will be fondly remembered by her many friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5-8 p.m., at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, (2357 Bloor St. W, Toronto).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (3055 Bloor St. W, West of Royal York Rd, Toronto). Tea reception to follow at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
